I'm pretty surprised no one has signed Rice yet.

Josh Brent came back and played for the Cowboys after being convicted and serving jail time for "intoxication manslaughter" when he killed his teammate in a drunk driving accident.

Several players with domestic violence arrests still play in the NFL.

That would be surprising to me, just b/c Jets already have Ivory, Powell, Stacy and Ridley. Only team I've heard talking to Rice is Cleveland.

No excuse whatsoever for the punch but this story exudes bad vibes about GS. If your the starting QB on an NFL team getting starting money and you owe - even arguably owe - a marginal backup player (albeit with monster pipes) 600 bucks, just pay the man.
