*Maybe* a search involving "occupational therapy" and "assistive technology"?? I am forwarding your request (sans name) to an OT with a specialty in AT. Unfortunately, she is in Arizona, but you never know.
Good luck, good dad!
for what it's worth, here is the response from my ot friend:
"actually each state has a tech act project that is able to answer questions and provide directions - this mm should just google tech act project for her state
"there is also a listserve where professionals from all over the world field questions for free: QIAT.com or .org
"thirdly whatever switch she is using may be able to help her"
(and for "her" read "him" )
I hope author's link is helpful!
I will have my wife look in to these as she is much much better than me when it comes to technology.
Thanks to both of you. I will keep you updated as we move forward.
Most of you know that I have a son who is a quadriplegic, so we purchased the new xbox one accessible controller. However, we need assistance programming the controller and adding/programming the external add on switches.
Playing video games is what he says he misses the most. (Obviously other than physical abilities)
If you, someone you know, or a company that you can recommend can do this please post here or pm me.
Thank you
