I like Burnet, but found Valley Barbecue better. Definitely not as hot and crowded.

Have you ever had Burnett or Nunzio's? If you are thinking a Carolina or Kansas City style of BBQ, that is not what you get. They are wonderful Portuguese style BBQ places, but not at all like American BBQ. For that, my local fave is Tiffany's.
Church's for Southern-style fried chicken and bbq ribs, Nunzios for Portuguese style charcoal-grilled rotisserie chicken & ribs. I miss Churassco, though!
We recently had take-out from Valley (chicken, ribs and pork cubes), and it was incredibly delicious. If that is the kind of BBQ you're looking for (Portuguese rather than southern), you cannot do better.

I loved Nunzio's chicken, but their ribs were such a bitter disappointment -- they were so overcooked it was like eating the sole of your shoe!
If you get ribs at church's(and you should!) I would recommend getting the beef ribs. Also, the fried chicken is sublime.

You wouldn't believe my sister's cooking..... LOL!
Church's did my son's bday last month and everyone raves about the chopped bbq and fried chicken.
