Right, and if the Apple monitor comes with a Thunderbolt hub in it, then it is not overpriced. Plus it will reduce the rat's nest of cables.

The display has 1 thunderbolt port (not thunderbolt 2), 3 usb ports, and a firewire 800 port. Useful.
