I think Sanders would beat Trump handily.  That said, if he didn't there is no way that a Sanders defeat would spark an honest appraisal amongst his followers.  Then again, if he did lose it would be entirely possible that it would, in part, be due to outside influences, just not the ones that folks like Nan and Tulsi Paul would be willing to believe in.

There’s a sick part of me that wants Sanders to win the nomination so that I can wear my I Told You So shirt when he loses.

That would be anti-climatic, because we already know how it would go -- Sanders lost because the corporate media manufactured consent and prefers Trump to a true hero of the people.

At the risk of being attacked by some and thought crazy by others let me say that if Bernie Sanders were to win the Democratic Nomination it would not be more than 72 hours until people like the folks whose videos nan links would be attacking Sanders as a sellout.

Discussion: I’m back

Welcome back from me as well. Although I had cut back on MOL for unrelated causes for a few years, I never succumbed to the evil, evil FB.

That means that I’ve missed out on a few important or timely matters, but I’ve also avoided having my brains sucked out through my nostrils slowly, to be left in a desiccated powder on my desk, sucked dry of all meaning, logic or purpose. That might also be due to the successful avoidance of cable and broadcast TV reception in our household for more than 20 years.  :-)

I liked Harris initially, because I was a fan of her prosecutorial style in Senate committee hearings. Somewhere along the line I've decided she would be a great AG.

Discussion: I’m back

I cheated. For the past 2 years, I slept with Facebook, but I’m done. Lounge posts now require admin approval, nobody wants your stuff on swap, even when it’s free, and Facebook just sucks all around. I hope you’ll have me back. It’s nice to see the old familiar “names” here.

I just leave it out and keep filling it. When it freezes over I just boil a bit of water on melt it. The birdbath is concrete and does have a crack. The large fountain is some sort of resin or something.  And there is another one that I believe is a concrete mix.

Cats name please.

Promise you won’t yell at me when you see Harry’s picture.

I spent weeks chasing orange tabbies, as you well know, and was stymied when one cat died suddenly at the shelter, and another cat was in a custody dispute with the cat’s owner. I looked at a gazillion web pages of kitties needing homes. I had neighbors, family, and friends on the lookout. You were very helpful - although, north Jersey and NYC potential cats threw me a transportation issue.

I checked out the Popcorn Zoo animal shelter and saw multiple orange cats, but, none were termed adoptable by the shelter for a variety of reasons. I had taken care of my last cat for weeks as she developed severe arthritic issues and had thyroid condition for two years. I just wasn’t ready to undertake a sick cat, but would have taken on an old timer.

My son was prepared to drive me to other shelters and at our first stop, a shelter in Manahawkin, I fell in love! This cat is a hugger, kneader, and loves sitting on my lap. All required needs on my part. He was a stray in Newark and I was told he was 2-1/2, but he looks more like a kitten to me. He goes to the vet tomorrow so perhaps I will know more.

So, here is Harry!

Not a cease fire. And Turkey's borders just got extended by 18 miles.

After it's "cleaned out" of Kurds.

Referring to Kurds living along Turkish border in Syria, Trump says of Turkey, "they had to have it cleaned out." pic.twitter.com/W8J7IFctO3

What Trump doesn't understand is (apart from feckin EVERYTHING) is that he just endorsed ethnic cleansing of the Kurds he's trying to save with a single tweet. When Erdogan talks about defeating terrorism, he means eradicate the Kurds.
