I like the Abeo sandals I get at the Walking Company. In addition to foot size(s), they determine your arch and show you shows accordingly.
Not sure what you're after, but the Olukai flipflops have an arch (and thus are priced as sandals, not flipflops), though I'm not sure how high you need. Super comfortable, even after a few years of daily summer wear.
I wear these pretty much year-round. Great arch support.

I have this problem every year with a high instep so it is hard to order on line.
Want something comfortable ,open toes, flat heel and not too many straps. Any idea where to look?
I've got the same problem with men's sandals. I've ordered 4 pairs so far online, and have had to return all of them.
Thanks for all your suggestions, some really good ones. Now to figure it out so I don't have to return.

I have a few pair of Ecco’s. They are a bit pricy, but I’ve been wearing each pair for several years. Very very comfortable. Good arch and supportive rubber bottom. Mephisto and Naot are other brands to check out. Try the websites that offer comfort shoes for ideas and then comparison shop for pricing.
