Who is Cooking ?

...and what are you making?

I'm not baking my famous challah bread this week.

I just made Passover macaroons to bring to a seder tomorrow. There is no way I can bring these....they came out terrible. They taste good, but all fell apart and I can't possibly serve them. What can I bring now? I don't want to bring canned macaroons.

Sweet Potato/carrot casserole

Mashed Potatoes

Slow roasted tomatoes with shallots and garlic

Parmesan Asparagus

Carrot and nut jello salad

Maple Syrup and Orange Marmalade roasted smoked ham (Cook's Test Kitchen)

Deviled Eggs

Pound Cake with Fresh Strawberries and triple sec...

Proseco and some good Italian reds.

Bread from Sanitary Bakery, Orange...

I made a bean/grain/vegetable salad:  1 can organic black beans, 1 can organic chick peas, 2 cups quinoa, 1 cup barley, 1 cup buckwheat, 1 medium red onion very finely chopped; 1 cucumber, skinned, finely chopped; chunked steamed asparagus.  Marinaded in olive oil/red wine vinaigrette infused with garlic and scallion.

@HoBo  If the macaroons are that crumbly can you press them into some kind of pan and use them as a crust.  You could put some kind of fruit on top or a chocolate icing and cut into squares and serve that way.
