Start by calling ATT and see if they can put that phone on your account. Cut straight to the chase.
Okay I went to their website. That phone doesn't show up on their compatability chart:
https://www.att.com/buy/phones/universal-sim-card-bring-your-own-phone.html
I went to the Verizon "Bring Your Own Device" page. That phone doesn't show up.
I'm assuming this is a hand-me-down since it's a 2013 vintage. The bad news is it may not be supported on any networks anymore. My wife's old iPhone 5S is a similar vintage and no longer connects to Verizon.

I ran into this problem with my old flip phone. The entire cell tower network on which it operated was discontinued and the infrastructure transferred over to a new and improved network to be used by new phones.
yeah, i don't remember the name of the tech, but there is 1 older type of cell phone that is no longer usable as of Jan 1 I believe.
After thinking about it I went to carrier for my phone. They say it is compatible, but there's no sharing plan. My plan $15/mo. with 3 gb is way to big for my usage. Unfortunately I signed up and prer-paid for a full year.
She uses her phone less. I'm starting to look for a lower price plan. She has some time left on her current pre-paid plan so it's not urgent.
Wife received a Samsung S4 Zoom cell phone. IMEI page simply says “Carrier. Sprint”. How can I find if there are other carriers she can join? She currently has an ATT flip-phone ans acct.
Thanks
