I've been cutting my son's hair, but he's now of an age where that isn't going to suffice any longer. We can't afford a fancy salon, but I'd like to take him someplace where he won't end up with a cut looking like Dylan Roof.
Any recommendations of where I can go to find a nice balance between quality of cut and not breaking the bank?
I'm sorry but I laughed at theDylan Roof reference.
Bernie at the barber shop in town gives the best cuts (as long as your son doesn't have a long hairstyle). We pay 20, including tip.

Yeah, long hair here. Drives my husband, a VFMAC graduate, batty
I'll keep him in mind for the other two though, they don't mind short hair. I just gave the 2 year old a fade, and his only complaint is that the clippers tickle

All the barbers in the shop are good but from observation I think that Dina really excels in making the kids feel relaxed.
Supercuts works for us - $14 + tip. Short Hills/Springfield location or SO.
