Actually, that ignores the Gold Rush and the 1890s cultured society era of Melbourne and Sydney especially,  but the wine-growing towns and tobacco towns and the camel drivers  that depended on Italians, Greeks, Turks and Afghan/Middle East men always had good coffee from 1850s on. cheesecheesecheese  Streets and localities are named after the early families who established coffee houses.

You really need to try some coffee grown around Byron Bay, or the Top End. Smoooooooth!  question
