a nice salad with fresh greens from a farm
Sounds delicious!
I have a quick chili recipe. Pound of ground turkey, jar of salsa, couple drained cans of beans (I usually use kidney and canellini for a little color contrast). Brown the turkey in, drain excess liquid. Add the salsa and beans. Let it bubble for a little while. Eat with bread or a biscuit. Sprinkle cheese liberally (we're in SOMA after all).
It gets better after it sits in the fridge for a day.

That sounds good too. We love chili
What prompted this thread was our delicious lunch, deli turkey grilled cheese with cranberry chutney and apple slices, sort of based on this:

It was good and made us realize we are getting tired of soup.

I'm looking for tasty hot or warm lunch ideas that I can make pretty quickly with reasonably available ingredients. We've been eating a lot of soup and I love it but don't always feel like soup. I'm looking for alternatives.
So what are you eating for lunch today? Maybe I can steal your idea. Or maybe somebody else can.
