Nothing against Oprah but I am not sure that I want to see another celebrity in the WH. Weight Watchers Weigh-ins in the Rose Garden, tiny scales on the table at state dinners all sound healthy but can I please have a low key politician, rarely making public appearances, just toiling away behind the scenes so I can focus on my own life for a term or two. I'm sure the Oprah fans will site her many attributes and I agree, but I'm weary of all the noise. Of course if I got a free car delivered to my driveway, I'm on board.
There is no "news Oprah will run for president". There's gossip and speculation and wishful thinking.
Here is the irony. People supported a spoiled rich kid because we needed a "businessman" to straighten out Washington. Who is a better "businessman", Trump or Winfrey? Winfrey hands down. She built her empire from the ground up, with no stake from daddy. And she did it as an African American female in a male dominated world. I believe we are faced with a few years of electing celebrities while politicians figure out this new reality. If that is true, I would vote for her. She is smart and successful.

It's up 10% to 52.
It was $10 in Oct. 2015 when Oprah acquired a 10% stake.
Trump could use Weight Watchers.
