Showers this morning should mostly give way to another overcast day. Slight chance of showers continues this afternoon, and a chance of showers overnight and tomorrow as things get a bit breezy. Highs and lows between 65⁰ and 70⁰
Sunday, likely still overcast, maybe a slight chance of showers.
Monday, partly cloudy, Tuesday chance of showers
The remnants of Helene are not expected to have any significant effect on our area
I'm curious how many hurricanes make a westward turn after making landfall. Looks like Nashville is in for some significant rainfall.

Not many. This is more a pause and shuffle than a full turn. There's a pretty significant high pressure ridge over the Great Lakes that is blocking northern progress, but the west-to-east winds will catch it in a day or two and blow the remnants out to sea.

Fair enough. Yeah I see when I zoom in on the projected track that Helene kinda stops and wanders aimlessly for a little while.
I keep on goggling at the radar images of this storm and how huge it appears to be.
