Yes, I agree 100%. For all the articles I read, it never spoils it on first watch of each episode. This series has been done like a good comic book, which has cliff hangers at the end of each episode. Similar to the after credit scenes in movies, which in a way was very similar.
I like the trio (Jimmy, Darcy, Monica) that are trying to help. I'm anxious to see how the events of this past episode affected them.
Monica has hinted at someone who can help her who is supposed to be rendezvousing with them soon. I'm dying to know who that is... supposed to be some kind of tech genius. I wonder if it will be someone we already know from the MCU, or another character they pull in from the comics. Maybe one of the Skrull, since we know they're still on Earth (end of the last Spider-Man movie) and they have connections with Monica's family.

Hmm, interesting. I have to rewatch some of those movies, as I missed the Skrull reference in the last Spiderman movie. What was it? As far as who Monica is hinting at - I think it's Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. Some fans have been hinting at another twist that sound about right - that Monica is actually developing powers and has a costumed heroine origin blossoming. All speculation at this point, but absolutely loved how the town expanded to 'save' Vision. There has also been talk of a FF tie in somewhere, but I don't get it. Also, who really is Pietro?

Yah, me too. "And I killed Sparky, too". All this, and a Munsters tie in? Mind blown once again.
It's been Agatha all along.
I continue to enjoy how the show is progressing. Clearly big things are in store for Monica. And I increasingly adore Kat Dennings as Darcy. Randall Park's character seems to be fading into blandness which is a dang shame. There are two episodes left for him to do something interesting. But it's clear that the main focus of this show is the female leading characters.
Since we know that Wanda will be in "Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" I wonder if Agatha will show up there as well.
And it looks like Teyonah Parris (Monica) will springboard from this show to "Captain Marvel II".
So the new Dr Strange movie will also introduce America Chavez, and the next Captain Marvel flick will bring us Kamala Khan. There will be great cries of lamentation in the halls of toxic fanboys, which gives me great delight. We need Squirrel Girl to round it out!
I vaguely recall AH from, I think, old Fantastic Four comics but can't remember any details. Hahn was quite good in the movie Private Life with Paul Giamatti.

Yeah, it's clear that the female leads are at the core of this show, though I like that Vision is actually waking up. I think Agatha is the focal point of this whole story, which was an absolutely brilliant reveal. I need to pull a picture from the comics, but she was in fact WAY older in the original comics. All these characters are rewrites, but I like reading all the theories that are brewing.
I have no idea about all the characters you mentioned, as my days of keeping up with Marvel characters were done by the 90s. I do like the speculation that Reed Richards is somehow going to be involved in this show, as the FF are central to Agatha Harkness specifically. I could be wrong, but I think she was actually a nanny to Reed and Sue's kid at one point in the comic?
I'm curious to know what sit com they use in the next season, as we are done for now. Next up, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will be more of an action series and have no specific tie in to this show. I have seen a preview of the What If? Cartoon, and may have to open up separate threads for both if that's OK? '

It is on Apple TV, just started Season 2 (so we just restarted our subscription). For All Mankind is an alternate history in which the Soviets won the race to the moon, and the space race (and global politics) went in a rather different direction. It is one of the limited number of shows that has the whole family's attention on movie night (with three teens/young adults, unanimity is a rare thing!). It scratches both the space-geek and alternate-history-geek itches in my family. Back-to-back with WandaVision it made for quite an evening last night.
(I have to say, the first episode of Season 2 of For All Mankind was rather confusing, because they took about a 9 year leap in time, and didn't full explain all of the changes that took place in between, including family changes, facial hair changes, unexpected new characters... but I'm sure we'll sort it all out eventually.)

I just started watching the first episode of Season 1, thanks. I like the lead NASA guy, I think he plaid a much darker character in a series I used to watch. It was about this woman detective that gets involved in some really bad stuff - I forget the name of it. I just discovered an old TV show with Poppy Montgomery as the lead, Unforgettable. Now I have two new shows to watch. If you just renewed your Apple TV and have not watched The Morning Show or Ted Lasso, you should definitely check those two out.
We are full circle now with my OP here on WandaVision now. I'm glad teens/young adults are engaged in this series because that was my original question. I thought it was brilliant that they were using old sitcoms to launch the narrative, but wondered if younger folks would appreciate the nuance. So there you go.
This thread prompted me to take out my box of old Marvel comics, that also includes other old mags (D.C., Mad, early 70s rock mags, even an issue of Harper's Magazine from 1893). Most of my comic buying seems to have been in the 15 cents per issue era, though there are some 12 centers, including pretty early issues of the original Marvel titles. I didn't dig deep but I know have at least one comic from the 1950s in there.

I miss the days when comics were written and priced for kids. It seems now you can get stuff for little little kids like Superman Family, but then all the other titles seem to be written for a much more mature crowd.
I think most mainstream titles were less than a dollar when I got into comic books.

Ah, I lost my prized collection on our last move, and sold what I had left just to soften the loss. You've got me beat on those 15 cent books, and I hope you have them appraised and stored properly. That's not to say I didn't own comics when they were that price, but I didn't save/collect them at that point. I was a kid in Brooklyn at the time, and used to sell them on those plastic card tables when I was done. You make sure you keep yours, though, OK? If you have any old GI Joes or Captain Action dolls, you make sure those stay safe too, OK?
Responding to the next post from mrincredible - Comics are no longer the medium they were when we were kids and reading them, but ironically the stories still hold up today. I'm not exactly sure who is buying individual comic books, but have you seen the cover prices? I read comics into my late 20s, early 30s, but the most I paid for a book was $1.25, and you got a much larger book with glossy colored pages (Direct Market companies, like Image and First). Sadly, the stories and art of most comics today are not even that great and they still charge over $2 on a single issue. Back at the height of my comic reading, I could get a GIANT SIZED book (such a misnomer) for 50 cents to a dollar. Most of my collection was in the 25 cent range. Yes, I had GIANT SIZED X-Men#1 (Look it up - I sold it for a song).
Gone are the days, as they say.
In my time, I remember feeling priced out when they hit 50 cents. It wasn't just the price but the increasing number of Marvel titles to buy.
I also allowed a lot of my comics to get lost or destroyed. Sigh. The ones I have are in plastic now. Mostly in good but not mint condition.

I used to buy and trade sports cards as a kid and now my son buys something called an NFT which is basically a digital sports card for buying and trading.
