It's a pipe dream but I kinda wish Michelle Obama was the nominee.
If Trump went after her with the insults and nastiness he reserves for his opponents, I think there would be a national popular vote backlash. She may be the one person in the country who would get that kind of support from negative campaigning.

Best I could come up with and I realize they are both coastal, although west and east, but aside from geography we now have voters hoping for both gender and racial diversity.
