USe online fax services?

Anyone have experience with online fax services?

faxx.us, metrofax, hellofax, etc?

Really don't want the fax machine around anymore, still need the number occasionally. Found several that will port my existing number over, so I'd like to try this.

The only faxes I get anymore are from my Dad ;-) (though for work need to fax to legal and regulatory vs email).

FWIW, I use eFax.com (the free version) but not sure if you can port your # over.

I need to have a fax number for work as well, but got tired of the fax machine. I've used metrofax for the past couple of years. Never had a problem. Very reliable.

+1. Me too.

Have been using MyFax now for about 2 years and have no issues. Don't do much faxing but nice to get an email when you receive a fax and not have to call in to retrieve. BTW, have a 3 in 1, so still technically have a fax machine, but can fax via Internet.
