Trump Unpopular Worldwide; American Image Suffers

www.pewglobal.org:  U.S. Image Suffers as Publics Around the World Question Trump's Leadership

Although he has only been in office a few months, Donald Trump’s presidency has had a major impact on how the world sees the United States. Trump and many of his key policies are broadly unpopular around the globe, and ratings for the U.S. have declined steeply in many nations.

...and no-one realised this prior to the report's release??

About two months ago there was a national tourism report that pointed out how appalling the visitor numbers were for this year (up to that time, and projected for the next year or two years so that would include bookings for conferences etc) compared with last year, and I think 5 years ago. 'Grim' barely describes the tone of the report.

Wow, those numbers fall off a cliff, although the Russians certainly love us. I can't wait to see how/if the administration spins these results as a positive development.

It can only get worse.  The world regularly witnesses Trump's imbecilic trash talk on a daily basis. It continues to profoundly degrade the office of POTUS.  Today's spew:

thehill.com:  Trump Mocks Low I.Q. "Crazy" Mika (Brzezinski) for Facelift

President Trump bashed the hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, in tweets early Thursday that said Brzezinski was "bleeding badly from a face-lift" when he saw her late last year at his Florida resort.

"I heard poorly rated Morning Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came ..." Trump tweeted before adding, "to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!"

I already know how Trump supporters will spin it.  "Trump puts America first!"

I've already heard people saying this.

Well it will push up their ratings.

In related news, wetness of water still under discussion.

Actually, the only news here that's bigger (apart from football news) is Cardinal Pell.

Cartoonists are torn.

Going to visit family in Europe for the first time after the election. I can't wait for dinner conversations about American politics...
