The Sundance School - Where Children Shine

NORTH PLAINFIELD - WESTWARD HO! Happening - Happy trails are guaranteed for the students at The Sundance School as they prepare travel west and blaze the Oregon Trail next week! The school's auditorium has been transformed into a museum-like interactive exhibit known as “The Happening”. This annual tradition was created to give students project based, and experiential learning opportunities during their exploration of each year's school wide theme. This year's theme,  "This Land is Your Land" celebrates and honors the people who helped to make America the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. Sundance faculty, dressed in authentic period costumes, assume the different roles and perform as Wild West characters to make the experience fun and meaningful for the students. Located at 401 Greenbrook Road, Sundance is an independent nonsectarian day school for children ages 2 through 5th grade.

The public is invited to experience the “WESTWARD HO!” Happening on Saturday April 29th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.during the school's spring open house and summer camp fair. Sundance faculty will be available to give guided tours of The Happening.  In addition, the admissions team will be available for classroom tours and to provide information about our academic programs and camp offerings.
