TD Bank Closing

The TD Bank Branch at Springfield Avenue and Morris Avenue will be closing on Jan 28. We were told today when we went to the coin machine there.

The branch next to the Wine Library will remain open.

What do you hope will replace it?

Another bank?

A nail salon?

A Duane Reid Pharmacy (we ain't got no D/Rs in N.J.)?

I've actually stumbled upon a Duane Reade in NJ, on Springfield Ave in   Irvington next to Auto Zone. Google tells me there are others.

im a TD customer. I can walk into any TD branch and either 1) the penny arcade coin counter will be down 2) the atm will be down or 3) the penny arcade coin counter and atm will be down.

Also why are the ATMs 3ft tall?

That branch's parking lot was always a pain in the ass to get in and out of.

Agreed, that parking lot was always a real pain to get out of.  Much preferred it when it was Stanleys many moons ago.

why no citi banks?

Saturated market, not a core market, not cost-effective, branch model dying, etc. etc.  There may be a dozen branches in NJ, if that.

My Favorite was when it was Sip  & Sup with a car hop.
