SYRIA

I looked at the old Syria threads and the last one was about Trump bombing Syria.  So maybe time to start a new one.

I posted a comment a few days ago in some thread about Assad being abandoned by Putin, I don’t remember if you mentioned anything about it. Putin’s roosters are coming home to roost. And no amount of foolishness from the YouTube journalism will save him. Putin is a coward.

I don't know what Putin's strategy is but it seems the US has fully embraced terrorists.

I'm seeing a lot provocative comments--some soon to be censored perhaps.

that’s strange you don’t know what Putin’s strategy is. He’s been losing in Ukraine, losing in Syria, losing in Iran, losing in Georgia… it’s only lil Kim who thinks he’s a winner… and of course yourself and Pablo…

You know what I know?  You really don't have a clue about what's going on.

Some people are brutal.

Now that Assad is no longer of use to Russia, should Putin kill him? Or would that deter future despots from becoming Putin clients? Guys, it's time for some game theory....(1/127)

Where did he say that?   I get the impression that he thinks Assad is way better than the Al-Qaeda leader that has taken over Syria.  Here is a long discussion about the situation with Max Blumenthal.

Here is a shorter interview with just Mate about Assad being thrown over.

And here is Jimmy Dore interviewing Richard Medhurst on the Syrian coup.

Glen Greenwald breaks down how a terrorist got rebranded for Western tastes.

why don't you ever have links where we can actually read and see sources on anything?  you just cut and pasted 4 hours of video!

You don’t like anything I post.  I’ve posted a lot of articles on other threads. Never heard a single positive response. You did not even seem to like my chicken wing recipe on your air fryer thread. To much video is not the problem.

lol - I will try the chicken wing recipe - I haven't gotten around to it yet.

All of your videos seem to be anti-US - anti-MSM - probably why people don't watch them.  We know the angle your pundits lead with.  It's very shallow reporting and just goes over their tired viewpoint.

There's just nothing to discuss with them - we get your bubble reporting.  Very little substance except to prove the MSM is bad.  Why not share your thought on what's actually happening and have a discussion?

I'm not up on that particular lore - what is "China was telling the truth all these years" referring to?

Brian Lehrer yesterday had on a journalist who was born in Syria, but who grew up in the U.S., and whose parents (father is a physician) have seen returned to Syria. His information and perspective was interesting. One point he made was with regard to reports of foreign fighters, such as the one quoted above -

"I felt that the Western media, which I am a part of and was a part of, would come into Syria and take a look. There's 20 million people. They would go and find the three or four foreign fighters that they can find in a town.

"They would ignore everything else that was happening. The majority of the people who were killed were civilians. The majority of the people who are fighting are Syrians, and yet they just want to focus on these foreign international terrorists, which I get why it was the main story, but it wasn't the story of the revolution. The people that actually moved this country are the people living there."

I have probably posted more supportive evidence than any other poster. All of it is ignored. You believe lies because of preconceived views and you are not open to changing that. It is painful to realize your country has an evil foreign policy.  It’s a sad day.
