Which hospital did Christie check into?

Morristown? St.Barnabas?

Inquiring minds wanna know...

WNBC reported Morristown

I'm a little pissed off about this.

The article I read this morning is he's mildly symptomatic and went to he hospital out if an abundance of caution because of his history of asthma. I wonder how many guys from Newark who are his age with a history of asthma get to take up a hospital bed based on mild symptoms. Regular folks are told to rest at home with mild COVID-19 symptoms.

Also, keep your nasty virus out of the hospital where it can infect others. Stay at home in your basement.

He's not the sitting governor anymore. He's about as vital to the function of the government as the cleaning staff at a NJ Turnpike rest stop. Probably less so.

far less so. The cleaning staff goes to work in masks.

It is maddening, I agree. First they deliberately put themselves and their surrounding in danger for political benefit. And then when the virus catches up with them they immediately run to the hospital and take up critical resources (and put the medical staff at risk). Hypocrisy is something that is deeply engrained in the american conservative movement, and therefore in the republican party. They want two sets of rules: one for themselves, and one for everyone else ("those people").

Now having said all of that, there is one thing we can do about it. Go vote! Vote Biden, and then blue all the way down ballot. And donate your time and/or money to your favorite democrat candidate.

This was the whole reason for you asking the question, right?

I have a friend who works at the emergency room at St. Barnabas.  They're still triaging Covid cases.  And Christie walzes into the hospital "out of an abundance of caution".

I doubt it was out of an abundance of caution, but you know how they are about not wanting to cause panic.

 I think that's a mambo.

The other possibility is that hes really sick and lying about it.

I wouldn’t doubt it. Christie is quite, er...corpulent, and he has asthma, so he’s as likely or more likely than anyone to be seriously ill.

and almost nobody wants to stay in the hospital as a precaution.

Ok. Here's my petty self.

It would be funny if they all had mild cases and were running crying like babies to the hospital after all the idiotic posturing (which has probably gotten some people sick or dead).

This thread cheered me up, mainly because I got to see Ralph , Norton and Mr. Manicotti doing the Mambo.
