Start of 2016 breaks temperture record

It's deeply disturbing what's happening.

"NASA reports that this was the hottest three-month start (January to March) of any year on record. It beat the previous record — just set in 2015 — by a stunning 0.7°F (0.39°C). Normally, such multi-month records are measured in the hundredths of a degree.

Last month was the hottest February on record by far. It followed the hottest January on record by far, which followed the hottest December by far, which followed the hottest November on record by far, which followed the hottest October on record by far."

At this rate I'm not looking forward to the blast oven summer months.  I hate hot weather: the "I-can't-breath" humidity, the bugs, the freak hail, lightning, flash flooding.  The storms we've been witnessing since GLOBAL WARMING has settled in have been epic.  Did I say how much I hate "bugs?"  Already some nit bastard has bitten me on my nose and I haven't a clue as to when it happened.  It hit 80 degrees today; ideal mosquito temperature.

Precipitation is running 75% below average amount for the past 90 days.  I thought the soil seemed drier than normal, but didn't realize how much less rainfall we've received until I looked it up.

As one poster to the article below put it:  We are totally f**cked.

I was recently in the company of gardeners who have noticed the same thing.  They also remarked that there has been an inordinate amount of weed growth; the most they've seen.

And the past few days (in fact al of May) has been far below where it should be for this time of year.
