Here's a little Steve:
Love Johnny's Jacket in this one:
The Great Flydini
A classic - Steve and Dave's Gay Vacation:
I haven't seen this one yet - but looks like a full set from the 80s.

I was in California last year at the Comedy and Magic Club and came across Chris Turner who does a improv rap based on audience suggestions. I was just searching to figure out his name and the first hit was the set I saw - check it out!

That was f*cking incredible.
I had all of Steve Martin's albums growing up and knew them word for word. Really brilliant stuff.

Yeah - I listened to Steve a lot growing up. I never saw the full live video of his set until I just posted it. Big inspiration for me when I was pursuing stand up. I didn't have a banjo - so I added my bodhran routine.
Here's one more gem a little earlier on:
Something ever so slightly more contemporary...
I had a chance to see this guy in a tiny New York theater as he was warming up for a gig at Radio City the next night. Possibly the last night out we had before lockdown. He's probably the best known comedian in the UK right now, almost personally responsible for bringing back stand-up over there with a series of TV shows bringing many new faces to television for the first time in the early 2000s. Anyhoo, the set I saw at the beginning of the year is now out on Netflix, and was hilarious, so you should go check it out. This is from an older special.
ETA: The fact that his name is McIntyre, he has Scottish parents, and he's from North London is (as far as I know) pure coincidence. I highly doubt we're related.
Jamie: Do you have any videos from your stand up routines? I enjoyed your performances at Here's To The Arts.

I also enjoyed it at Here’s to the arts. That was a little fun place.
I think Art Gartenlaub had some videos. But he has passed on sadly. And I haven’t seen Willy since she was at the train station.

Usually this happens when a video is taken down. It probably had a copyright violation.
I'm looking for a good Lenny Bruce to post. Haven't found the perfect one. He's been a favorite, a martyr to censorship.

Willie is on Facebook if you are trying to contact her, try sending her a PM there. She and Art moved down the shore shortly before he became seriously ill.
This 1+minute clip from his Netflix special "Humanity" is great (and clean)

Don’t know the reason it was firewalled, but this was why it was up at the time.
Here's a little Al Lubel:
He's not a very well known comic - I used to run into him performing at Gotham a lot when I was taking classes there. There's a new documentary with him that's pretty entertaining if you want to know more about him - it's on Prime:

Last I knew, I think she was in Brick.

Lenny Bruce... The videos and records I saw/heard were weak, censored. The best comes from the books.
