Southern NJ (photos)

The first is from the Delaware Canal.

Lucille's is on Rt 539, Warren Grove The business is still active and the food is good. Mostly local customers who's conversations are fun to overhear.

Jack do you know much about Down Twp, and the waterfront there? Some of the homes look like they have million dollar views. I am just slightly afraid that it may be solid trump down there?

No, I haven't been there. My next southern NJ town to explore is Commercial Township. I want to get photos of the boardwalk.

According to this map, Trump won Downe Township 75.2% to 19.6%. The "reddest" in the state.

ughhhh. Thanks. I had a feeling. Did you know that southern jersey was once the Northern outpost of the KKK? I knew there was a reason it never felt like part of NJ to me.

Southern, southern N.J. is also below the Mason-Dixon line.

Well, if that's the criterion we're going to use, then Lakewood must be real bastion of Southern type KKK'ness. The second reddest town in the state, 74.4% for Trump. smile
