Small motor repair

I’d like to learn small electric motor repair.  I’m not interesated in a PhD level course, just something light so I can repair some small appliances, like a blender, window fan, etc.

I think you'll have a hard time finding a class like this.  In my experience, small electric motors like you describe are throwaways.  You can check for loose wires or bad switches, but other than that they are pretty much plug and play.  I used to take motors to places to be rewound or have bearings replaced, but those were 3hp and up, and I suspect that threshold has only gone up in recent years.

Small motor or small engine?

What did google have to offer?

thanks folks!

I guess I asked the wrong question on YT... got more general discussios that were too theoretical and not practical enough.
