I thought Wonder Woman was awesome but it took itself a lot more seriously.
Shazam was more fun. Not as serious (although at times pretty intense). And the ending battle is a delight.
Aquaman kinda fell between the two.
I really enjoyed all three in different ways.
Also I was a kid who loved comic books (and a young adult) and felt somewhat ostracized for being so. So it gave me a special thrill to see this at SOPAC last night:
Although not a super hero movie, but wonderful fantasy, last night I saw BFG and fell in love with this Big Friendly Giant. Would have loved to see it on the big screen. I'd never heard of it, which was surprising, as it was a Steven Spielberg production.
Saw the recent film version of Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson and thought that was a nicely produced fairy tale although I'm still devoted to the Jean Cocteau version.
