Scotty's in Millburn

Thank you Cap'n. I don't care if the food isn't 5-star, tapas aren't on the menu and neither is foie gras. If you want a '57 Chateau Lafite go across the street and grab a bottle at the Wine Library. The beer is cold and they have liters of it. Those who didn't join us last year don't have clue as to how much fun it was. We had regular gatherings during the summer, and it always had a pretty good turnout.

Through the late 90's their Delmonico steak was actually pretty good. Then again, that was 17 years ago.

seems to me like its a health department inspection away from being closed down.

I can't wait to hit it up now oh oh

Why wait? It's right there.

I would consider going to a F2F there. I'm sure it would be fun.

It is fun. Everyone has a couple beers or cocktails. We split a bunch of appetizers, and just hang out, as there is ample seating on the patio at the Tiki Bar.

I worked at Smuggler's Cove from '79 to '81 as a bartender/waitress/and sometimes hostess. @marylago's first job was as a Bus Girl for Smuggler's Cove. It was sometimes Peyton Place, but I have to say that I have some great memories of that place and Scotty and his family and our staff, including Frank and Freddy the cooks. George was an awesome Bartender and such a great guy. Pat the Bartender was a wise guy who always said, "Piece of cake, can of corn". I was like, "What?" LOL. But, he always loaned me his Cadillac when I had a split shift...he was a good dude. I think the waitress here was named Joanne. There were a lot of great folks that we worked with, and some crazy ones, too...like me, I guess. LOL. Freddy used to make the best French Bread pizzas way before I had heard of them anywhere else. All in all it was a great time, and so even though I haven't been there in years (except for a class reunion and one of HarleyQuinn's F2Fs), I have a lot of memories of the place...and most of them are good.

Those uniforms will haunt me in hell! Auughhh

Hey, where's Hoops? Seems like prime meat for a C.H.U.D. to comment on.

LOL I barely remember wearing them, but I remember everyone else wearing them. ;-)

Went there once many years ago. It's kind of like a restaurant that the DMV runs.

Best. Review. Ever.
