 One vote for Tulsi!

Now we know where Mr. Surovell disappeared to ...

 Aw c'mon. Let it rest.

Hey, there have been complaints about points of view going away.  Just trying to present a target to lure him back. smile

OK, let's try this:

Welcome back @paulsurovell ! Be About Peace!

Wait, are you saying you think of Paul as a doormat?  oh oh

I’m in South Bend on business.  There are a lot of differing opinions about Mayor Pete.  One guy said he knows the town attorney who said Pete had one foot out the door the whole time he was mayor, very ambitious.  Another said he had some good ideas to improve things but not much came to fruition.  There are a handful of new companies starting here trying to keep some of the Notre Dame graduates in the area, but not many bigger companies are sticking around (including my own which is closing its office this summer).

I would have liked Pete to be maybe more humble and try for a rep/senator/governor job before saying he knows enough to run the country after managing a very small depressed city.  I mean at least he wasn’t a failed businessman and tv personality but still.  Not like I won’t vote for him if he gets the nomination anyway...

I have to admit that one of the things I don't like about Pete is that there is a whiff of Torpey on him.

NOTE:  I was going to link to Torpey's wikipedia page in case Maplewood residents were unfamiliar with the former "Mayor" of South Orange but it has been deleted.  Chuckle......

There has been a bit of speculation as to what Devon Nunes has been doing there. Heard the question on MSNBC, maybe Chris Matthews was one of the hosts who questioned Pete Buttigieg about it.  Oppo research?

ummmm... Pete's not perfect like all of the other candidates?  Say it aint so.....

Here's an idea: stop doing the Republicans' work for them and support your candidate in a positive light.

He’s not my candidate yet.  I’m not sure who I’m voting for in the primary but I’m pretty sure it isn’t Pete.

As I said if he becomes the dem candidate I will support him.  Kinda like all those Republicans did for Trump.

The Times ‘splains what happened in Iowa...

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/02/14/us/politics/iowa-caucus-results-mistakes.html

you do know that this is a problem with the caucus process, not a problem unique to the Democratic Party.  Or did you forget the GOP caucus in 2012?

Santorum finished 34 votes ahead of Romney in new Iowa tally; votes from 8 precincts missing.

She knows. She knows all the things that commenters remind her of. She doesn’t care, remember?

Hardly comparable in stupidity to the Iowa caucus debacle. and you and David must know that, right?

Oh, and I read about in the Times’ exhaustive article early this morning — which means “commentators” won’t  be revealing the news until this afternoon.

Men just don’t do “snide” remarks well, at least in my experience here.

I know this: If the raw vote totals that were compiled and reported under new caucus rules this year had been compiled and reported in 2016 — yes, the “stupidity” and “debacle” revealed in the Times accounting would have been exactly the same.

Side thought: Why would anyone aspire to do snide remarks well?

Is that cartoon supposed to be humorous? Cause I don't get it.

Is the pie (I guess) in the left frame connected to the cake on the right?

What?

What?

The triptych’s humor will become clear in the Nevada caucus cartoon:

A brownie gives a donkey indigestion. The donkey says: “Craps!”

This isn’t a zinger?

 Sounded pretty snide to me.

You don’t know? You do care? Well, I take it back then.

(Practice, practice, I always say.)

You posted a meme that said you don't care. It's not snide to take that at face value.

you don't think votes missing from 8 precincts isn't a debacle?  Really?

Correct.

Correct.

I forgot. No need to think if you can just knee-jerk react.

Republicans = Good

Democrats = Bad
