Photo enlargements

Who do you use?  I'm looking for 16 x 20 or even up to 20 x 30.  I prefer for them to be on some sort of poster board or something more rigid than a normal photo.  I think matte in preferable over glossy as well.

Worth asking at your UPS store. The one in Summit can do all sorts of stuff with enlargements. 

Costco. But the clerks are limited in their knowledge.

Madison Photo is the best for individual attention and custom work.

I just ordered a bunch of prints and a nicely matted and framed print from Mpix.com. They do large-format printing and their shipping materials are almost bulletproof.

mpix.com, iprintfromhome.com and printique all do prints that large. I think the first two offer mounting on foam core? Spontaneous is right re: printing on metal. Check out all the black friday sales. Lastly - there's Bombshell Graphics in, I think Fairfield, they do this exact thing for events - last time I used them a 23x36 was $75. The printing wasn't on photo paper tho -

I saw that iprintfromhome uses sRGB. sRGB is OK for the point and shoot pictures and wallet size prints or internet posts. Also, many monitors are limited to sRGB. There's also ProPhoto RGB.

But if you spend big bucks for a beautifully large print using a serious camera then it doesn't make sense to limit the color space to sRGB. You should use Adobe RGB.

Thanks all for the feedback, my initial plans are on hold, but it's good to know the choices.  Has anyone used canvasprint?   Just curious about that method and it certainly get a lot of advertising.
