Outdoor Concert – Chestnuts in the Park: Hands Across the Sea
Memorial Park Amphitheater, Maplewood, NJ
Maplewood Community Music
will host its final concert of the 2014 - 2015 season, its annual
outdoor summer concert in Maplewood. The concert will feature the
Maplewood Community Concert Band under the direction of Steve Kimmons.
The concert features marches and overtures from around the world
beginning with John Philip Sousa's Hands Across the Sea.
The program will feature xylophone soloist Jasmine Bloch-Krempels, 5th
Grade Band Director for the South Orange-Maplewood School District. She
will perform an arrangement of Ragtime Robin arranged for concert band by Bob Renshaw, another band member.
Pack a picnic, blankets, chairs, and the whole family and enjoy an
evening of summer favorites! Refreshments will be available for
purchase.
