nothing out of this world - only suggest if you need to send a gift to someone would never buy for myself
I just got wonderful prime cuts at the Kosher deli by staples - they are only open on weekdays but if you can get there highly suggested you check out their prime assortment
I've tried them many times and don't think they're worth the premium they charge. You can do better at your supermarket butcher in my opinion. The meat isn't bad but it's nothing special.

Thanks for the tip.
I had them once, and found them to be very watery. Like they had been soaked to up their weight and "juiciness."
It was ridiculously difficult to get a char or crust on them, or even to brown them. And believe me I know how to use high heat.
I'm familiar with Omaha steaks because my old 94 year old mother gets their products. Don't waste your money.
I can't get past the point that they are frozen. Another thing to know is that if you place an order with them, you'll get junk mail, email, and phone calls forever.
Are Omaha Steaks any good? I've always been intrigued by them but have never tried them. I was going to go to the store in Livingston and pick something up, but then started to read some online reviews, and the reviews basically all said "meh". Nothing special and not worth the price.
Has anyone out there tried them?
