There was a Goon Show program that spoke about putting a man on the sun.
When the suggestion was made that it would be dangerous, the response would be that they'd only launch at night, when the sun wasn't shining!

Well this seems audacious, outrageous and totally bodacious.
A probe that will reach within 4 million miles of the Sun and travel at speeds over 400,000 miles per hour. This is pretty outstanding, but I hope that we can revive this thread in 7 years to discuss the discoveries that it makes.
