Nova, Nova, Nova!

Just amazing!

Wow. For my money, 35 for 49 is even more impressive than 22 for 28.

A 25-0 run against a Final Four opponent ain't too shabby, either.

If Syracuse wins the nightcap, here's hoping the Cats keep it up.

I thought this thread was about a really good bagel brunch.

Now that you mention it, I may have misunderstood the OP.

I thought it was a Yankees thread (pitcher)....but happy either way - Go Cats, Go Orange....

Regretfully, because I really do like those '74 Chevys, it's time for me to trade mine back in for a Ram.

Gotta love the warm vibe of MOL.  Thank you all, Go Nova!

first finals I've picked correctly since 1994.  Bodes well for Nova fans.

If my Heels lose, I can't think of a team and coach I'd rather win the title more than the Cats and Jay Wright. I won't be able to watch the game tonight, but may the rest of you be treated to an entertaining, worthy final.

In 1983, I watched schoolmate Jay Wright play every game in the "powerhouse" East Coast Conference from my seat in the pep band. Tonight I'm watching him coach for a national championship, at the school my son attends, no less. This is just so freaking awesome.

GO NOVA!  Still the underdog in every game.  What a program in this era of one-and-done's.

Why am I so annoyed about the new blue? GTHC.

(Also this thread is making me hungry.)

Duke fans are a prickly breed.

Caught only the last 35 seconds -- two more wows. Congrats to the Cats.

VILLANOVA BABY!!!   A different hero every game!!!!!

Amazing ending - great game!

Your wish was granted and then some.

one of the best finals in years.  great, great finish.

A painful, painful loss for us Tar Heel fans on many levels (I get choked up every time I see Marcus Paige's face). But what a game, and a beyond worthy opponent. If we're going to go down, I'm glad to go down like that. Congratulations to Villanova fans - enjoy every minute.

What a season for Villanova!  Had a real tear through the toughest Tourney path to the championship game.  The Iowa and Miami games were insane... defeating Kansas was a stunner... after that the epic beatdown of Oklahoma in the Final Four, and now this championship game ending!  WOW!!!

And through it all, Jay Wright and his players were all class in the way they conducted themselves on and off the court.

Truly worthy champions!!!

So thrilled for my kid, who probably had to be scraped off of Lancaster Ave. this morning.

I prefer lox myself.

Main Line tough!

(Always amused me when commentators or reporters referred to this 'Nova team as "Philly tough." The toughness was unquestionable, but it had little, if anything, to do with Philly.)

Couldn't agree more. Country club tough. ;-)

I am thinking that Jenkns, Booth, and Ochefu have never set foot in a country club. Brunson may have been in a few.

What a tremendous game.  Really a shame that someone had to lose.  Just bad timing in that my son really wants to attend after we visited last month and now I can only imagine the increase in the number of applicants.

Proud to be a Wildcat.
