Ninety Acres Dress Code archived

What to wear? Can I wear jeans? My sisters want to know if they need to dress up.

Yes, you can, assuming not straight out of your garden. It's somewhat laid back, particularly if you're sitting near the bar area.

It's a nice place, and while I think jeans would "go" you may wish to "dress them up a bit" with a nice shirt/sweater, etc

I assumed he'd pop on one of his snazzy creations. :-D

Well, of course. blank stare I'll snazz it up. ;-)

You can always google "dress code" "ninety acres".

Or http://www.dresscodefinder.com

Or http://www.opentable.com/ninety-acres. Then click on "more details" which says dresscode is "smart casual".

Thanks Suzanne ! Good to know.

New word in my vocabulary "I'll snazz it up" wink

We know you will "snazz it up" question

I think jeans and a nice shirt/jacket/nice shoes would be fine - enjoy!

I've seen men in shorts during the evening in the summer. Great space. Great food. Nice wine list.

If you're feeling adventurous, try one of the Scholium Project wines if they're on the list. If not, ask anyway. Not often do they ever show up on any wine list and they usually have one or two... the guy behind them is a hoot, and has spent much time pushing the envelope beyond traditional winemaking, often by going in reverse back to ancient Greek methods, amongst others. Unless you've got a degree in Classical Philosophy, don't bother trying to pronounce them.

Finally went. Lovely place...nicest I've been to in NJ thusfar. Food was good, not extraordinary unless it was what I selected. The place is staffed to the hilt so service was very good. Best part of the evening was when we (me and two of my sisters) were offered a lovely bottle of champange by the assistant manager of the cooking school there because he had one of my sisters as a professor at Johnson & Wales (this was a big surprise, she had no idea he worked there). It was so cute having this 20-something guy calling my sister Mrs. Daniels. Posing for pictures with him, tour of the cooking school, etc. A very polite young man. We were so happy.
