check into laws, it may be illegal to audio record people without consent unless you are a party to the conversation. I know the ring can be set to video only. Assuming you have a single family home, you can post a sign informing people that they are being audio recorded and consent if they choose to speak in near the camera, but I have seen some videos and they have picked up conversation of people passing on the sidewalk....and if its someone that is mad at you, they can press charges for illegal recording out of spite.
cameras invade the privacy of neighbors they record. people should be able to sit in front of their homes without a camera pointed at them.
