If there has been any permitted work done previously, your local building department might have a copy. Sorry to say that the greater likelihood is that they don't. Your attorney might have a copy of the survey that was part of your title search.
When I needed one, I knew my city had it on file from a construction project some years ago. Was told hard copies were warehoused, obtaining it could be an OPRA request, would not happen quickly. I got lucky and found what I needed (was misfiled). You may find the same thing in your town - it exists, it’s just not easy to obtain. Do you know who did the survey? Might be easier to purchase a copy from the surveyor?
Thanks all.
I did submit an OPRA request with Maplewood Town Hall, and I am very pleased to report that I received an email with a copy of requested survey in about 2 days! Fastest service ever from there.

Unfortunately I cannot locate a copy of the property survey. Any ideas how to find it?
Have tried the mortgage company but to no avail.
Any suggestions appreciated.
