Saturday March 9th update
Forecast on track for a stormy night tonight.
The models are in agreement that a strong low pressure will move through the area tonight, with rain, heavy at times, slight chance of a thunderstorm, and moderate winds.
Light rain in the late afternoon likely gives way to heavier rain around 7, continuing through 1 or 2 am Sunday before tapering off. Total rainfall should be 1 - 1.5 inches (more if there are thunderstorms), and the NWS has again issued a Flood Watch for the area. Rapidly responding streams may top their banks briefly, and road and field ponding is possible. Temps then drop but any snow Sunday afternoon will be brief and will not accumulate.
Monday could be windy but likely drier.

Friday March 8
More rain this weekend.
After a clear day today, clouds move in Saturday and rain should develop late in the day. Overnight we could see an inch or more, on still saturated ground. Some scattered showers possible Sunday. Temps drop so we could see a snow shower but no accumulation. Breezy.
