Mold Inspection / Remediation Company recomendation

Any suggestions for a company that does inspection and remediation of mold?

Thanks

Unfortunately that’s not a simple question.  pm me with some details and I might be able to help.

Ace Remediation in Dover, N.J.

They start with a mold test to identify the type of mold to be treated. Then they treat it and re-test. Guaranteed.

Hi,

You can call Lisa Hirschmann at Servpro:  908-222-2020 .

You can also email her:  lisa@servpronesc.com

You can tell her that Adam Spiel told you about her. I run a personal concierge and errand service called Go To Guy.

Good luck,

Adam

Don’t use Servpro unless your homeowner’s insurance insist on them and are unwilling to pay any other firm.

Whomever you select, be aware that most only do the mold remediation (which includes removing drywall about 30" up from the floor).  They do not rebuild the walls.

When we had it done in my in-laws house, I ended up having to do the drywall repairs myself (= one of the events, that led to my current home repair activities).

When we were moving, the buyer's home inspector found a little spot of mold in our basement. We used a company called No Fungus Amungus (http://www.nofungus.com/) I have no feedback other than...

1) It wasn't that expensive

2) They showed up on the day they were supposed to show up

3) The buyer didn't complain

try calling "scrub systems"  they are local and advertise here on mol.  if they cant help you they will tell you so.  I am not sure if mold remediation is in their services provided.

I would be careful about wasting valuable time dealing with the local Servpro franchises.  They tend to lead you on until they get a bigger job from someone else, and then dump you if they succeed in getting a bigger job.  So, unless you have a very big job that is covered by insurance, I would call someone else.
