Lost Cat near Maplecrest Park

Unfortunately, our beloved cat has gone missing. He has neither tags nor collar (he is an indoor cat). We think he got out of the house on Friday night (4/3).

Description: Gray, short-ish hair, with white markings on his face, white paws and a white belly. He has been neutered, he is very friendly, and he answers to the name "Stray".

He was last seen at home on Friday (4/3) on Oakland Road right across the street from Maplecrest Park.
If you see a cat that fits this description, please contact me at 347-276-4794 or email mfcomerchero@hotmail.com.

Thank you.

Can you post a picture?

We don't have a recent photo of him, but our vet does. I can post one tomorrow. The only one we have is the one we posted here when we found him nearly two years ago...(he looks much different now). Thanks!

Did you try looking in the park today? It's probably quiet over there since it's Easter. He might have also gone on Boyden Parkway where I have seen other cats. The street runs right into the park.

Thank you, but unfortunately no luck there nor anywhere we have looked. We will start canvassing the neighborhood with flyers tomorrow, as well as check in with Animal Control and the Animal Shelter. We found him originally as a stray kitten who sneaked into our basement two years ago. Perhaps he has pulled a similar stunt.

Good Luck ! I hope he returns home soon. I do my walking in and around Maplecrest Park and I will keep my eyes open for him. Sometimes cats do run and hide in garages or basements if the door is open. Only thing is sometimes the door gets closed and they cannot get out. That happened to a cat in my neighborhood. The cat went missing and just by luck the owner went by a house and was calling his name and she heard the meow. Sure enough in the garage.. Good thoughts for Mr Stray and hope he hurries home.

If he is a former stray, he may wander farther than a true indoor cat would. I'm a few blocks from you and will keep my eyes open for him.

Thank you! We really appreciate it. Though he is nearly exclusively an indoor cat, he accidentally got locked out of the house overnight about a year ago. The next morning he was anxiously waiting by the front door. It's been two days, so I'm thinking he did wander pretty far.

Fantastic !!!!! I am so happy for you ! Was he waiting on the step like last time?

When you have time please change the title so people know that your cat is safely home.
So glad you are reunited!
