RIP Lucy...
On Friday I got a call responding to a flyer I left at a house down the road.
After I inquired about it, SO Animal control confirmed she is was picked up after being found dead in the driveway of a house on South Ridgewood Rd. and Audley.
I feel terrible. She was so precious.
So sorry! We have a stray that has adopted us, pretty much in your neighborhood, that has the same kind of coloration. I wonder if they were related? But she's a stray and I'm always afraid she'll try to cross the street at the wrong time.

Not the ending any of us wanted to hear. My deepest condolences. She was beautiful.

if you live in the "south mountain" vicinity or just over into Maplewood from SO, Walton and westward, the PLEASE check outdoor areas where she might be hiding/stuck.
It is advisable if you think you hear something to use a flashlight as the eyes illuminate even in day time.
An ******* has bee tearing down my signs. Please let me know if you see who is doing this--they would be a person of interest to me...
Last seen Sept 21, in South Orange (near Maplewood) on Ridgewood Rd.
Note the half-gray face is very distinctive! mainly gray top with some white and orange flecks white underbody, white feet. Petite build. Answers to "Lucy."
