Local repair for guitar pedals

Any recs for a local person to fix effects pedals? Thanks.

Definitely start with One Stop Repairs in Maplewood over by the Walgreens on Springfield Avenue.  They aren't open every day so call or drive by first.

I don't know about effects pedals but you can try this guy.  I went to him for an amplifier repair and it worked out fine.

Depending on what it is, it may not be worth the cost of a repair if it's out of warranty.  Some of the manufacturers will do repairs on their own equipment for free if you ship it to them.  Fuchs Audio Technology in Clifton has a repair dept for a lot of music gear.  You might give them a call and describe what you have.

Dave at Dave's Sound Repair on Rt 10 in Hanover

He has fixed anything and everything I've brought in but call first to confirm

Didn't know Fuchs does pedal repairs.

FAT manufactures some of best USA made amps right here in New Jersey.

Many are pretty high gain numbers but you have to respect the craftsmanship.

+1 for One Stop. He can fix anything. People ship stuff to him from all over the state.

These days a lot of effects pedals have chips and pc boards. It isn't like replacing a tube or fixing a toaster.

I've had two pedals repaired at One Stop plus a bunch of other stuff. Absolutely recommend for a close and easy option. Dave is also good. I don't recommend Fuchs for anything....

Please let us know who you used and if you were satisfied. That feedback makes forums such as this useful.
