I got one of those last week also. Note how they don't even mention your name in the message, -such a lazy robocall scam.
Got several of them last week, too. From different numbers, but in the D.C. area and each left the same message. Obvious that it's a scam, but it is annoying, too. And you can't even pick it up and yell at the person on the other end of the call since it is a recorded message.
Why can't I get these calls when I'm working from home? I'd love to kill some time with them.
That 202 number rang once this morning. They hung up. Maybe they recognize I ratted on them.
Got a couple of calls just in the last 8 hours from the same Washington State number leaving a recorded message about a bogus IRS suit. Don't know how effective it is, but some guidance for reporting these scams here: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/IRS-Reiterates-Warning-of-Pervasive-Telephone-Scam

It was my turn. Caller ID said "Washington, DC, 202-657-4915."
Didn't pick it up, figuring it was phony. Message said "this call is final notice that the IRS is getting ready to file a lawsuit against you. Please call at the above number."
Beware. I know that no one on MOL would fall for it, but please alert anyone you know who might pick it up and at least be concerned.
