Jersey shore beach rental

hi we are looking to rent a place down by the beach for a couple (3) days by the beach in early August. It seems like people only want to rent for the week... does anybody know of any place along the shore we can find a place... we have 3 young kids and we will have probably 5 adults and we only want to spend some time at the beach..

call several local realtors in a few shore towns you wish to visit-they may have some last minute changes & open weeks that the owners may accept less than a full week.

If you are not fussy about the place....please let me know which dates you are looking at.

That is the best suggestion. A lot can change with rentals, and they'll know what is available. Granted, it will be a hunt.

Have you tried any of the motels/hotels in the area? Some of them have suites or adjoining rooms that might work for you. In Avalon, I know of the Concord Suites, the Golden Inn, the Windrift and the Beachcomber. All are on or only a block away from the beach and have pools as well.

Most house rentals in the summer are looking for at least a week, often 2-weeks, as a minimum.

Have you looked on airbnb.com? Know alot of people who've stayed at good locations for fair prices.

looking for a long weekend from 8/1 to 8/4....so very limited options as not yet last minute.... there are a couple of places on airbnb but a bit pricey..ie $500 a night.. can almost rent for a week at that price
