Is drummerboy wearing shorts today?

I wonder how long we can get this thread to last. Will we get a daily answer from the man (er, boy) himself?

On a related note, I had the AC on in my car today. And I am currently wearing shorts.

Of course I am. And I've got my AC on also. In the house. I can't tolerate indoor temps much above 70 degrees.

Wearing sandals too. I'm quite the sight.

Funny, I just switched to shorts because the zipper on my pants broke (and it got hot).

Excellent. This thread is off to a brisk beginning.

It's warm today. Just got back from Newport RI, where it was chilly last night (but we still had a great time). We were sweating by the time we got back to NJ.

Still awaiting confirmation for today. It's a little chillier, but shorts would be better for wading through today's puddles.

Wearing shorts, but haven't been out today, so I'm not sure if that counts.

I suppose this is related.  A couple of weeks ago we went out for dinner in Summit.  It was about 60 degrees, and I decided to forego a jacket and wear just a long-sleeved dress shirt.  Then we got home and I turned on the Dodgers-Giants game in LA, and the fans behind the plate were dressed for an arctic expedition.  Full body down coats, big mittens, wool caps.  I checked the weather in LA -- 60 degrees.

I see similar things up here. If it's in the 50's I see people in winter coats, and I'm still walking around in a tee and shorts.

 Fixed it for you.

Well, in the 20's I usually have some sort of coat on at least. Upper body more sensitive than my legs.

we visited Iceland in July, when daytime highs are typically in the mid-50s. It was surprising to see natives in Reykjavik dressed in t-shirts, down coats, and everything in between. I expected them all to be basking in their summertime weather in warm weather garb.

It was bit blustery today, but not a problem.

 Excellent.

Well, I'm wearing sweatpants and curled up in a blanket and feeling no shame.

Carry on ...

I put on a sweatshirt and sweatpants to take the dog out at 6 this morning. It's getting cooler out there.

I very comfortably mowed the lawn in shorts earlier today, but after the rain when I went out to Stop & Shop I felt very chilly.

shorts on, though I did wear a light jacket.

Wore shorts this morning for some outdoor chores. Then the front moved through, now wearing pants.

Quite warm here (we are almost in summer) but I’ll admit to wearing fluffy bed socks last night - with the bedroom fan on for the high humidity cheese (now walking around barefoot and in a light tee shirt)

Tough call on shorts vs pants today. Feels like shorts weather at the moment but that can change quickly.

Wore shorts earlier in the day for working out.

I saw a teen girl wearing shorts around 3pm today. I was not, and thought her a bit daft.

I was out at around the same time. Another wonderful fall day for shorts.  cheese

Day ends in “y” so yes.
