S’mores are fun, but honestly they taste better made in the oven.

I recently came to the conclusion that I don't like s'mores.
I like each piece separately, but together I find them to be a crumbly sticky mess and way too sweet. It seems more of an experiment type of experience (can I heat the marshmallow enough to melt the chocolate, without accidentally burning the marshmallow?).
My family makes fun of me, but I now only roast mini-marshmallows. Faster heating, and they more easily get gooey all the way through. But I eat the bigger ones unheated. I think I just prefer marshmallows when they have the same texture all the way through.
...And our family vacations when I was a kid was camping (it was cheap, and we were poor).
DB, you should probably go camping sometime just to do it. But, I never really enjoyed it. Rocks under the sleeping mat, bugs, too hot/too cold (and rain... ugh). I finally got to do more 'kid-fun' things once I had my own children.
