Hugh Jackman Music Man on BWAY

Apparently this was announced earlier this year but I didn’t hear anything about it. Tonight, I got a pop up that tickets were on sale. Sept 2020-Feb 2021. Fairly well sold fir most weekend shows already. Got some great seats for a Saturday in Dec. Hopefully I won’t wind up with a conflict. So excited a) well, it’s Hugh Jackman! b) this was my HS sophomore year play and it’s really special to me

On sale at Telecharge if anyone’s interested!

My brother and family saw him over here about two weeks ago (Brisbane); they're still singing highlights cheese

Crikey are those tickets pricey! Cheap seats are $179.

Sutton Foster is playing Marian Paroo.

Jefferson Mays is playing Mayor Shinn.

Shuler Hensley is playing Marcellus.

This is a Broadway fan's dream come true. I guess we're eating dried beans and tuna for a year!

Yes! I forgot to mention the rest of the cast. For sure, they were ridiculously expensive. I justified it by saying to myself that I haven’t paid for a Broadway show in a few years.

Huge Jackman advertisement came with the weekend NY Times - big four-page fold-out touting the musical.  They're going to rake in a ton of money before they even have to make their first payroll next year on this one.

At midnight last night it was largely sold. Many dates literally had 10 or 12 total seats left

Late last night still a fair amount of seats in January.  I am looking forward to going. We saw him in "The Boy From Oz" several years ago, and he's an amazing performer. We also saw Sutton Foster in a The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein (also with Shuler Hensley) and Anything Goes and she's a rare talent as well. And we loved Jefferson Mays in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and The Front Page.
