how to find donut size for car

...without putting up with a dealer......i'd rather do without then put of with the aggravation they cause.

door label says 215/70R15 (for the regular tires)

rims 15x 6.5

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan 2WD 6 Cylinders R 3.3L MFI OHV (SE)

Somehow the tire that sits under the car is not there.  I was told it had one when I bought the car (new).  But I have been struggling with my health and it was the least of my concerns.  I never actually looked for it.  Got a flat yesterday...went to look for it, and it wasn't there. (I do have a pump if it needed air)

And does anyone know how a spare just disappears?

I don't know if it was a full size or donut to begin with, but the space seems the size of a donut.

and any recommendations on where to get a replacement cheap?

According to ebay, you need spare. spare tire hoist and plastic cover for spare.  If I were you, I would put an ad for these items on craigslist

no I don't need all that, i won't store it under the car.....just going to dump it on the trunk or back seat..at most I have 1 passenger in the front seat.

but yeah, the whole set up is missing, the wire didn't even come down, could be that it is stuck after 15 years, but the cover is definitely not there...

i'm not going to place an ad without knowing what size I need..if I can figure out the size, i will check ebay, etc.  I know someone that deals with junkyards and may be able to get one...but I need to tell him what to look for.
