High Wind Warning Last Night

I'm guessing (hoping) that the flowers on the Tulip trees and the buds on everything else won't be enough to create a Snowtober effect with regards to the power.

djsiry is talking about the thunderstorms. I think I made it home about 20 minutes before it started. Yikes!
On Riggs Place in South Orange, power went out at 12:30am and has not returned. A lot of big branches have fallen.

Western end of Riggs is fine. Tree went down on a garage on our end of the street between Riggs and Cottage...may have taken down the power lines.
I had two very large branches fall on my back porch and yard this morning (around 6am). Some damage which I think will not be too expensive to repair. Some really hard work cutting up and removing said branches to a location in my yard so that they will be ready for my sister's fireplace next fall.
Anyone else lose Optimum service. Been without since Sunday AM. Tech was here yesterday and said no power to our line.

I did, but the tech is here now. The tech yesterday said they weren't permitted to climb because of the high winds. That made total sense. Safety first. OTOH, I feel bad for the guy today that has to climb in the rain.
