HGTV Shows (rant)

So I decided to DVR and watch a few of the latest House Hunters show - wow, it's really lame to not have the narrator.

BAD MOVE.

Then I see they're doing a spinoff of Flip or Flop with only Christina.  Who wants to see this one?

I was hooked on HGTV for awhile - but took a break, but I can't seem to get back into it.  

I think Love or List It still has it's charm.

Love It or List It is still their best show right now. 

Fixer Upper is good as well.

 I used to like House Hunters until I found out it was a scam.  Love It or List It is the only thing I will watch when there's nothing else to watch on my other 1,000 channels.

I haven't had cable for about 2 years, and TBH, I really don't miss HGTV. Having said that, when I did watch it, Love It or List It was the second best show, along with Fixer Upper. I couldn't stand that guy in Flip or Flop. He just came across as a massive douche, and she wasn't much better. Property Brothers is the best show they have, assuming it's still going. And yeah, I have played the House Hunters game where you try to guess which house the couple has already actually bought, because it's not always the one with no furniture.

Worse still - I was getting my nails done and the nail salon had on HGTV and they show a new show called House Full of Spouses about a guy with 3 "wives" and a bazillion kids and the show was about their search for a bigger house for their enormous family.  

When did polygamy become normalized? WTF?  

All Hail Chip & Joanna! I sit there look at the prices and try to convince myself that I could move to Waco.

If I were pitching a show, I'd suggest one centered around New Orleans. There are still properties that have not been rehabbed. And I actually could make that move.

 Here I am in San Antonio, just three hours from Waco and still mystified how Waco became cool.
