Heyward to the Cubs
Does he really warrant that kind of payday? Or is it just that he's the best of the available free agents this year?
He showed no pop with the Cards but his speed, arm, defense, and BA make him worth it in this market. Salaries are ridiculous And he's young and a great teammate.
These salaries bum me out. Ticket prices just keep going up way more than inflation.

I'm sure I'm the only one who cares, but I'll sure miss him as a Cardinals fan. The Cubbies are going to be a force to contend with for years to come. Along with the Mets.
